Get involved in human rights in Africa with Amnesty!

Amnesty in Malmö wants to start a group that focuses on human rights in Africa. As a member with us, you are involved in planning live and digital events. The group itself decides what type of event to organize and all suggestions are welcome. Our groups can organize panel discussions, demonstrations, digital campaigns via social media and petitions - to name a few activities that our activists do!

The group is dynamic and can work with, for example, issues regarding abortion rights, women's rights issues, the rights of LGBTQI people, migration issues and climate justice. But that is something you in the group decide on your own and also which countries you want to highlight.

What does the assignment entail?

To regularly participate in the group's meetings approximately 1-2 times a month
To be part of the planning and execution of actions for human rights in various African countries
To develop and improve the group's structure and working methods

När och var sker uppdraget

The members of the group decide together where we meet and where we arrange our activities. The group has both digital meetings and on-site meetings in Amnesty's office in Malmö. Activities are mainly carried out in Malmö.
