Are you creative, social and enjoy meeting new people? Do you want to help create more queer-positive space in Stockholm?
About RFSL Stockholm:
RFSL Stockholm is Stockholm's local association within RFSL, the Swedish Federation for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersex Rights. We work to ensure that everyone has the same rights, opportunities and obligations regardless of sexuality, gender identity or gender expression, HIV status, ethnicity, religion or other beliefs, functional ability, age or socio-economic background.
What is Queerkväll hos RFSL?
Queerkväll hos RFSL is a meeting place where adults who identify under the LGBTQI umbrella can socialize and participate in activities in an alcohol-free environment. We are open on Tuesday evenings, as well as one weekend day a month, for coffee and activities.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for people who are creative and social. We welcome volunteers with different experiences and backgrounds and we value diversity in all forms.
The assignment also involves some practical tasks such as the following:

- Planning and hosting various activities such as board game nights, craft nights, workshops, etc.
- Preparing coffee/fika and cleaning up after the activities.
- Acting as a leader to motivate engagement, and to answer any practical questions from our visitors.
Desired skills:
- Are comfortable meeting people in different life situations and working in a multicultural context.
- Have an ability to inspire trust and participation.
- An understanding of anti-racist, feminist and intersectional perspectives.
Requirements:
- To volunteer at RFSL Stockholm, you need to be a member of our organisation.
- Willing to provide a criminal record check.
- 18 years or older.
- You share RFSL's vision on human rights, equal treatment and diversity.

Minsta åtagande
We would like volunteers to be available at least 2 evenings a month.
När och var sker uppdraget
The assignment is carried out at our premises at Alsnögatan 7, 116 41 Stockholm, on Tuesdays between approx. 17:00 - 21:00. Weekend assignments can take place during the day and at external locations around Stockholm.
