AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL SEEKS: MEMBERS FOR A MEDIA GROUP
Amnesty International is a global organization fighting for freedom, justice, and equal rights for all. We are a global network of human rights activists who take injustice personally. Now, we are looking for those who want to engage in human rights and document and highlight the work of our local groups.
The primary role of the media group will be to document demonstrations, manifestations, lectures, and discussions organized by Amnesty and its local groups in the major cities of Stockholm, Malmö, and Gothenburg. This means you must be able to attend these events in the specified cities.
The media group can also work with photography and film to highlight human rights, for example, by creating exhibitions.
To join the media group, we prefer that you have experience in photography/film. Ideally, you can send a portfolio of your work. You do not need any prior knowledge of Amnesty; we will teach you what you need to know.
We are looking for people from Gothenburg, Malmö, and Stockholm who are willing to be part of the group.
WE OFFER:

The assignment is on a voluntary basis (unpaid) and is based on the groups' need for assistance, which varies over time. Meetings can be held from anywhere, but attending demonstrations and other events requires physical presence in the specified cities.
A startup meeting will take place at the beginning of the fall semester. During the summer, the response rate to expressions of interest will be lower, but we will contact you for a digital startup meeting at the beginning of the fall semester.
