Are you an international student in social work, law, education, global studies, or health? Do you want to use your skills and compassion to create a more inclusive society? Join Räddningsmissionen’s Social Center in Gothenburg and help us work toward a dignified life for all.

At our Social Center we support people living outside the Swedish welfare system, offering immediate help like meals, showers, clothing, and overnight stays. We also focus on long-term initiatives such as counseling, motivation, and job market integration.

As a volunteer, you’ll help with tasks like serving breakfast, maintaining welcoming spaces, build trust, provide informal counseling and support activities to empower vulnerable individuals.

We’re looking for flexible, compassionate individuals eager to help people in vulnerable situations. English is sufficient, but skills in languages like Romanian, Russian, Polish, or Bulgarian are a plus. Volunteers may assist with general tasks or, if skilled, contribute to specific initiatives.

You will gain a meaningful experience with tangible impact. Practical insights into social work, human rights, and cultural communication. Networking opportunities to develop personally and professionally.
